Welcome to my website, thank you for taking the time to see if I might be a good fit for you or your family. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in individual psychotherapy with children, adolescents and adults. I have expertise in talk, art therapy, biofeedback, and EMDR to assist people in understanding their feelings and work through difficult situations. I have a gentle and compassionate manner that invites participation and fosters growth. I also use a sense of humor to help easy anxiety in the office setting. My combination of approaches is tailored to each individual. When working with children, I offer support to parents regarding behavior management and communication with their children. With adolescents and adults, I work collaboratively in setting goals and empowering them to achieve success and happiness.
With over 17 years experience assisting children, adolescents and families I have created my own style in working with this population. In addition to being a private practitioner, I have presented at national conferences and colleges speaking on the topics of art therapy and biofeedback.
I utilize a variety of techniques including play therapy, sand play, art therapy, verbal therapy, EMDR and biofeedback. I maintain a private practice in Davis, California.
