What sets me apart from other therapists in the Davis area is that I specialize specifically with children and adolescents and my therapy extends beyond the office. Because of my extensive experience working with children and families, I know that comprehensive treatment often requires more than an hour of therapy per week, and that therapy must reach beyond the office in order to be truely effective. When indicated, and with parental consent I will collaborate with your child's teacher or other care providers your child is involved with. I try to make our sessions as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, that may involve creating art, going on a walk or sitting under a tree to talk. Therapy with me extends beyond my office if you so choose. I also have years of experience working with adults. I am capable of helping different members of a family to support the family in becoming more fully functioning and healthy.
